What is Reiki?

Reiki is a term used to describe a natural healing system , originally taught by Mikao Usui,  which helps bring about an improved sense of well being and a positive feeling of spiritual renewal or emotional uplift.  Reiki’s natural energy is powerful yet gentle and can prove helpful when experiencing periods of emotional anxiety and physical pain and discomfort.

Reiki is safe for everyone, regardless of age or state of health - you do not have to be ill to benefit from Reiki’s calming and relaxing effect. Often, no matter what the problem, Reii will help you cope better with it.  Once you have experienced the benefits of Reiki treatments you may wish to learn how to use this energy to treat yourself or other people.

As a qualified Usui Master Teacher and Practitioner, I offer Reiki treatments and courses from my home in Swanage, Dorset.

Where does Reiki come from?

Reiki is universal energy and available to all.  This does not come from your practitioner – they are simply a “channel” through which your body draws the energy.
